Chief of Staff

The Role: 

We are looking for an exceptional Chief of Staff who will work as a right hand to our CEO in areas ranging from strategy, business operations, business intelligence, special projects, and more. This position will wear many hats and have responsibility and influence throughout the organization to solve challenging problems and drive strategic initiatives.

You will understand the CEO's strategy, establish operational rigor, and drive communication and alignment at all levels as a leader. You'll build relationships across teams, influence action through empathy and conviction, and take on special projects to fulfill the CEO's goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand, track, and communicate the CEO’s vision, OKRs, KPIs and key metrics to their team and implement a roadmap to ensure all deliverables and goals are met or exceeded.

  • Be the ‘go-to’ person supporting the CEO on critical cross-functional projects.

  • Improve “executive presence” by working on cross-functional projects directly with the CEO and our Leadership team.

  • Proactively ensure goals are pursued through completion.

  • Influence through relationship building and rallying behind company purpose.

  • Act as a direct point of contact for the CEO’s reports and do so with the agility, strategy, and empathy the role requires.

  • Lead planning and execution of executive meetings, board meetings, and leadership events.

  • Establish operational rigor with data and metrics to inform planning and tracking.

  • Play a key role in company-wide communications at all levels.


Requirements:

  • Graduate degree (preferred MBA, MPA, JD)

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar chief of staff or executive-level support role, preferably within the tech or blockchain industry.

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in financial analysis and presentation.

  • Management consulting experience is an added advantage.

  • Expert stakeholder manager with strong interpersonal skills to build trust and consensus quickly.

  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence and implementing process improvements, resulting in increased efficiency and productivity.

  • Demonstrated project management skills (minimum 2 years), with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience working remotely and the ability to thrive in a remote-first work
    environment, demonstrating self-motivation, accountability, and strong time
    management skills.

  • An ability to write effectively is a must, with well-developed skills in Excel and PowerPoint a strong advantage.
